A few minutes later, a team of four men armed with assault rifles marched down the dark corridor until they came upon the Cargo Bay doors. Lier opened doors with the simple push of a button on his controls. The team stormed into the dark room with flashlights lighting their line of fire.
"Lier, get some light down here." one of the merc's spoke through his comm. They divided and swept the area. The Cargo Bay expanded throughout the diameter of the ship. It was large enough for two small fighters and a land rover. Plus, a year's supply of food and other necessities.
Lier traversed his holographic keyboard with speedy fingers. The cargo bay was suddenly lit up. Every inch of the place was under a light.
"Nice going, Lier." the team shut their flashlights off and continued sweeping the area. Lier's H.U.D displayed three lifeforms inside the Cargo Bay other than the team of mercs. "Guys, there is definitely someone in there I just can't pin point their exact location. Just keep your eyes open.

Raven was silent as she remained in the various armor crate that she had found her way into. As she remained motionless, with her armor all powered down, the noise of footsteps on metal were heard as she held her rifle that was hidden under the armor. They were nearby, but the seemed to be moving in an uncertain manner. The metal crate must have been lined with something to avoid direct detection by scans. Hiding less then legal items would have called for such measures to insure there was no detection. However, her bio-signature would still be detected do to her abnormality.
I could try to remain undetected... but it is obvious they know I am here. They may start checking boxes, but even then, they might not check all of them. If I don't move, there is a chance that they will either find me, or they may see my armor and assume it is with this crate. And if they find the other two, they will certaintly want to find me...
Do I risk it? Or do I wait till the last possible second. Silence... no sound...
Do nothing, hide amongst the armor act as if you are not here. Don't move...
However, Raven's heart rate was a bit erratic as she tried to slow it down. A part of her mind had a deep pounding fear in her. On the edge of her mind was the one fear that scared her more then death. The fear of being recaptured by Cerberus...

The men continued to search for the intruder. One man walked closer and closer to a crate containing the collection of armor belonging to the crew. His flashlight shined brightly on the crate. He got closer and closer. He reached for the crate with an obvious intent of opening it, when suddenly the Captain's voice erupted out of their communicators.
"Abort the search," ordred the Captain. "It's probably just a malfunction." The men retreated from the room, convinced it was just a computer error. But Lier wasn't as quick to blame the ship's A.I. as the others. "But sir-" he wanted to express his doubt but the Captain quickly stopped him.
"Forget it, Lier. Tell them to take Tallahassee and Buck to the Med-Bay so they can tell us what happened once they wake up."
"Aye, Captain." replied Lier. He went on to relay the message to the others. As for the captain: he needed some peace and quiet.
"And get us back home, Lier. I think the crew earned a little R&R." Added the Captain.
"Aye aye, Sir." That lifted Lier's spirit as well as the rest of the crew. The captain made his way through the tight corridors of the large ship and entered his private chambers.
Hours passed and the ship would soon emerge from FTL.

As the peopled moved around in the cargo bay, the woman remained absolutely silent and still, hiding her vitals with her armor's electronics. She didn't appear on the motion monitors, nor anything else but as she listened. Each step was louder as they grow near. The closer they came, the more she felt her mind feel the pull of leaping out and fighting. Yet, she didn't. Her hand was on her pistol as she heard the boots finally stop in front of her crate.
There was no sound. Nothing. It became deathly quiet as nothing happened, nothing moved as she remained motionless. Then as if a prayer being answered she heard the murmurs of words though the crate that she could barely understand. The search was stopped. And slowly the steps backed away as the people left the cargo room. Raven didn't stir, didn't move for at least an hour as she listened to the room for any telling sign.
There was nothing. Not a breath from a watcher or a twitch from someone outside. There was no sound and no one outside. Quietly, the woman opened the crate of armor before pulling herself out. As she did so, she carefully checked everywhere with her eyes. There was no movement or tell-tale sign of someone watching. She walked a few steps before removing her helmet. The woman glanced about for a moment to try and find a place to hid as oppose to the cargo container.
She sat against one of the wall as she softly tried to breath. Her mind was racing but calmly she tried to ease herself as her mind thought about her home. Quickly, she shook her head as she held on her knife. It was an old one, but a sharp one none the less.
Soon... soon I well be elsewhere... Soon... I can have a moment of peace. [/size]
