Buildings, lights, everything a highly populated megalopolis needs. There were people everywhere, in vehicles that moved near by as well as on the hard metal flooring. Tall skyscraper-like structures reached for the sky over what appeared to be water that reflected the blue lighting illuminating from each structure.
Guards were everywhere too. Holding their military grade weapons, the normal security force was primarily comprised of many races. However, there was also mechs that kept an eye out as people moved about in their daily lives. And those people had a great deal of credits.
As asari, turian, krogan, and numerous other species intermingled, in the shadows, a black armored woman moved. She didn't move to hide, but mere stay away from the crowd. As she walked, her mask was up as well as her shielding system. It was as if she expected a fight. Her mask was a bit different then a regular mask. It was similar to a quarian mask, only that there was notably more metal covering it. However, the eyes of the woman, nor her face could be seen. She had a collapsed sniper rifle on her back, with a few knives.
As she passed threw an exposed area, her movement seemed quickened but no less undeterred. She was after some thing. Quietly she moved, speaking to no one as her rifle was firm in her grip. A pair of doors opened, and she walked into a space port. As she walked, her gaze was fixed forward. There was no care in it, no emotion behind it as she climbed up to the next floor overlooking the hanger. Her rifle came out and she instantly became still, hidden behind a spot light,
Raven had arrived in Illium several days prior on a ship that was Terran. It was a transport ship that had minimum security. She had sat alone for three days withe no company in one of the maintenance shafts. Every so often she would have to move to avoid detection.
Target arrives in four hours... at least that was intel claim. [/size][/i]

Workers scurried below; tending to the large ships docking and departing minutes later. The large port was capable of holding four small ships or two large frigates. The ships would dock beside a platform while giant suction cups would keep then in place. The exhausted energy of clunkier ships would cover the entire hangar in a thick vapor for a split second as it flared it's forward thrusters for a smoother stop. The workers came to despise though ships as they were forced to cover their mouths and noses every time. But their complaints are futile, as most of those clunkier ships are mercenaries and criminals, people who have the authorities in their pockets.
Three hours passed. The workers dwindled in numbers as only a few remained. A dock of the port was electronically closed off; reserved for a particular individual. Below, the few workers responsible for that dock huddled together, gambled and spoke amongst themselves.
"How important do you think this guy is?" asked a fiery red-head. He took a sip of his drink, looking around to make sure his superiors wouldn't see him drinking on the job. A hologram of an Asari dancer appeared on the middle of the table with the four workers looking on in interest. Music playing in the background.
"Who are you talking about?" asked a Turian across the table.
"You know," he leaned forward, "The guy we're supposedly holding the dock open for."
"Bah!" replied the Turian, "It's probably just some criminal up to his knees in credit chits." the Turian waved his hands wildly as he spoke. Seemingly having a personal opinion on the matter. "These thugs think they can just come here and do what they want just because Illium isn't as policed as other worlds."
"Yeah, the real problem is the police in Illium." another human, dark-brown hair with clothes that seemed to be rags agreed. He appeared to be a man with little regard for hygiene. "All the criminals have them in their pockets." The last man was a Salarian. An unusually quiet Salarian. He merely looked on at the Asari dancer.
The red-head turned to him, "What the hell's wrong with you? You better cut back on those Asari vids, Solu, you're creeping us out." The Salarian ignored him and merely leaned in to look at the virtual dancer closer. "Freak." the red-head shook in hopelessness.
Suddenly, the roar of a frigate brought the dock to life. A black, rigid beast slowed to a stop. The workers sprang to their feet, stashing the Asari hologram and drinks into a small container. They ran to their stations and waited for the suction cups to clamp onto the ship. After the ship dosed off into a stand-by mode, it's hatch opened and out stepped a heavily-armored man onto the walkway leading from the airlock. Three bodyguards walked with him. Two male and one female. They looked around desperately, looking out for any shooters.

Raven was silently waiting. She had been muttering to herself in her native tongue. Little prayers she didn't believe in, nothing more. Things started to change in pace from the movement of common criminals, daily traffic, the occasional patrol. Now, it looked like the same organization was in the area do to a large team of armed people. A red head with a Turian seemed to catch the woman's attention for a split second, along with a brown haired individual and a salarian. Yet they interested her only so long, as her mind return to her job as she heard a frigate come in.
Illium... trading hub of the Council and Terminus space. So close to escape, yet...
Why am I thinking about that...
That bastard should be here... Where is he...
The frigate landed after a moment, revealing a large amount of heavily armored soldier. They must have had some combat, for they looked rather veteran. However, her gaze returned to the group for a moment. They were looking for shooters and instantly Raven dropped to cover behind the spotlight that would beacon in ships.
Her eyes narrowed for a moment as a bulkhead opened below her silently. Another sniper was climbing up. As he focused on climbing, Raven pulled out a knife. One of several targets. He was a Turian, wearing black as she was. He came with his head over the metal plate-form that over looked the hanger bay. He turned his head to see the woman seize his throat.
"Taken." she said simply as her knife stabbed into the assassins throat. He gagged as she moved the knife around in his throat so that he would bleed out his dark blue blood. She held his body against the ladder as she remained crouched behind cover to be unseen by the searchers.
Hmmm... I hope this guy is worth the effort....
Her scope came up as she looked at the other spots she had seen.
If I were an assassin... where would I be... hmmm....

"Keep your eyes open, Duston." The female mercenary spoke as she shifted her eyes around the dock. She was a petite woman with blond hair. Too clean to be a merc. It showed how many different people were able to pick up a gun and simply become a merc. With skill, of course. If you didn't have any uses, they'd wouldn't take you. And her uses are most likely more than combat-based...
Duston, a young, human male with brown hair retorted to the woman, "Why do you always worry about me? I can look after myself!" he was obviously emotionally unstable as he flailed his arms around, focusing only on her concern.
"I'm not worried about you, I'm worried about myself. I don't wanna get shot from behind because my squad-mate is incompetent!" the woman shouted back at the young man. Duston would spew insults back at her but their third squad-mate intervened with only his voice.
"Enough! We're here to do business. How would it look if people saw the Thresher Bloods' mercenaries as arguing children?" His mere presence was enough to keep them in line but they would often get out of line. This man was tall, and heavily-built. With a shaved head and muscles that hid under his heavily-armored suit. "You should know better, Viola."
"Sorry..." replied Viola. She returned to her at-attention posture along with Duston. They stood behind the leader of the group as the Salarian worker approached him. The other workers looked on in confusion as they saw their friend possibly going to his death. But he approached him they spoke with each other. The Salarian handed him something and in exchange the man gave the Salarian a credit chit. The Salarian looked around for any other witnesses other than his friends.
"You said there wouldn't be any witnesses." the man spoke. The Salarian grew frightened. He kept his head down and away from the man's eyes. His cold, dark eyes. The man looked over to the crew workers who now froze in fear. "Rex." he said. The man with the shaved head readied his sniper and aimed at the crew workers. Bang! The fiery red-dead dropped dead with a bullet in his head. The other two scattered. Bang, the Turian fell over from a shot to the head. Bang, the other human man collapsed as the shot shattered his knee. He cringed and screamed in pain. The leader looked over to Viola who reluctantly approached the human and shot him between the eyes.
The gunshots echoed through the empty port. With only Raven as witness. The Salarian stood still keeping his eyes on his feet. He could hear the gunshots and his friends screaming as they died one by one. Then the footsteps of the mercenaries as they walked over to the docking bay doors that led to Illium. "Clean it up." the leader of the mercenaries demanded. The Salarian sprinted to the bodies, disgusted by the scene.

Thresher Bloods... of course... they have to be here making my job harder then it needs to be... Tisk, tisk... Now I have to clean up your mess... ahh... there you are...
Raven's eyes stared threw her scope as she had her helmet up only so her green eye was against the cold metal. As she looked threw, the orange colored image in the scope, she could see the skull of an assassin rising to strike at the mercenary group. As he aimed, Raven's gun was aimed straight on the being's head. He was on the second floor over the first where the people were along with the corpses. The second floor was designed for such ambushes by security forces.
This man was a salarian with a red colored body. It looked to be a blood red color and his eyes seemed wide and narrowed forward. He had to be almost thirdy by the way he looked to be. The armor looked like commando armor almost. Yet under second study, Raven figured it to be more likely a officer uniform.
He witnessed nothing, having hidden behind the second levels wall the entire time. He rose aiming his rifle at the Thresher Bloods leading man, whom Viola and Duston following. Raven watched the head and for a split second she could swear his eye had turned to see her. For at that moment, it grew wider.
May your soul join the ancestors...
She fired her rifle and it made a loud bang as it echoed in the room. The sniper was hit, but as he flinched from the hit, his finger pulled the trigger and flew in the direction of Viola. He collapsed back as his green blood sprayed the wall behind him and dripped from the salarian's eye.
Raven's eye glanced to Viola for a moment. However, another sniper rose from a position she had noted as a potential sniper spot. He seemed to know where she was as his rifle aimed squarely for her. Yet, he did it quickly, not accurately. His gun fired and collided with the side of Raven's unarmored left cheek. Her own blood was odd in coloration do to the mixture of green with the scarlet as it leaked onto her face and down the side of her neck. Her rifle was up again as she fired another shot at the position of the security.
The commotion would arouse attention as Raven remained in her cover, hoping they didn't think both she and the target that was in what looked to be the hangers rafters. The rafters were only accessed in maintenance on ships, or when special forces were being called in. It appeared as if the situation had degraded fast. At that moment, two more appeared in their white colored armor. As the woman bleed from the luck shot, do to her visor not being down and the weakness of her armor compared to sniper rounds, her rifle fired another two shots at the white armored salarians.
Shit... STGs... What are they doing here? Did the Council send them to deal with the Thresher Bloods? That would explain the sum of cash offered...
One of the Special Task Group Salarian's fired at Raven' as she ducked behind the spotlight. Instantly their was a shattering sound as the light went out as Raven fired again at the enemy watching as the bullet merely grazed off the steel as the ducked for cover.
"Surrender!" Yelled on of the STGs, most likely a commander of sorts. "Lay down your weapons, and we will spare your lives!"
No... these aren't Council's... someone paid them. Maybe they are traitors... or maybe they just found the STG's armor. Council doesn't work like this. When the Council sends in STG's or Specters, they, 9 out of 10, want the target dead... [/blockquote]

The Thresher Blood's snapped to attention as the gunshot roared through the empty spaceport. Rex readied his assault rifle and turned toward the direction of the gunshot as he stepped in front of the leader. He became a large human-shield with heavy armor and shields. The cloaked leader remained enigmatic, although surprised by the loud gunshots. The shots came from both directions. Duston covered the leader's backside. Viola lay on the ground with a bleeding leg. She crawled to the nearest crate for cover with a trail of blood behind her.
"Vio, you alright?!" screamed Duston. He shifted his aim from place to place, desperately seeking the source of the shots.
"No, I love bleeding!" Viola retorted sarcastically, "Of course not, you idiot!" She struggled to remove her rifle from her back as the pain on her leg was immense. She took in a deep breath as she finally succeeded in acquiring her weapon. But she was in no position to defend herself. The group continued to shift around the dock desperately looking for the culprit. The spotlights blinding them from seeing into the shadows of the platforms up-top.
As the STG duo barges in through the doors, Rex takes aim and Duston turns around to aim at the other one. After a few seconds of staring them down, the Thresher Blood leader raised his arm and with a feint biotic spark the STG's shields went down. The distraction gave Rex and Duston the opportunity to put a bullet hole in each one's skull.
"Let's go, sir!" Rex ran in front of the leader, leading him through the port doors and inside the corridor. Duston helped Viola up.
"Easy, you idiot!" Viola cringed as Duston picked her up too fast. He ran and she limped beside him until they made it inside the corridor.
"We gotta get her to the medical ward." said Duston.
"Alright, get her up and let's go. It would be easier to get our ship's med bay but with that sniper out there, it wouldn't be wise." replied Rex. He put his weapon away and helped Duston carry her on their shoulders. The cloaked man led them.
"Thanks, guys." said Viola before dosing off into a deep sleep.
"We'd better hurry, she's losing a lot of blood." Rex noticed the long trail of blood behind them. "We can figure out who's trying to kill us later."

"Lock down their ship! Don't let them get out!" said one of the Commanders as the STG moved toward the group of Mercs as the followed the trail of blood. Another group of engineer looking soldiers moved to the console and activated their omni-tools.
"Where is the other? Who was it? I thought there was only three on the Thrasher Blood's landing party."
"Whoever it was, was on the second level find--" At that moment an engineer fell to his feet as a bullet wound was seen from his forehead. A second engineer turned quickly while the third continued to work as fast as he could. Then, the black armored soldier became visible as it stood before the two engineers, holding a sniper rifle in her hands. The two stared silently as two STG soldiers stopped in their path to follow the blood trail left by the mercs.
"Don't move! You are under arr--" Raven's gun collided with the first Salarian, knocking him to the ground as she turned and quickly hit the second. Her reaction time was extremely fast, even for a Salarian, though they had gotten off a few shots as she turned and sprinted as fast as she could. The engineer standing next to the one still working fired his rifle at the woman as she ran, hitting her shields till they disappeared and some blood splattered the ground until she moved past the doors which were closing, taking some of the fire.
"Shouldn't we go after them?" The salarian engineers said to the Commander as he watched the doors close after a moment. He merely shook his head and sighed.
"No... he has to come back for his ship sometime... Send the two infiltrators to search for them. Have them take care of the-- unknown variable."
"The sniper? Wait, where is the Turian?"
"Didn't you see where the sniper was? The spot he was going to be. I am thinking his throat might be letting a little more then air pass threw... He's pro-"
"Turian's dead, sir." Two mercs called down from the second level. The Commander shook his head.
"Their ship is in the hanger, there is no where they can go. We have them trapped on Illium. This was fucked up... They shouldn't have gotten away." The Commander watched for a moment only to glance down to see scarlet blood with a mix of green. "The hell is this?"
"Looks like human blood... was it a human protecting them?" said a Salarian who was next to the engineer. He waved his omni-tool only to look confused. "What is this? Human...but... analyzing." He touched to tool as he looked at the reading. "Strange..."
"What?"
"Well, one, it is a she. Two, she's a ghost. I am finding nothing on her species. Three, I am detecting traces of hazardous chemicals in her. Curious."
"Curious?"
"Sir... I recommend we don't kill her. She is obviously some sort of---"
There is no rest... keep running... don't stop... keep going. Follow their blood to them... Keep... them... safe.
My head...
Can't you hear it? Where is it? My god is it loud... So very loud.... That crying... Please for the love of life, make it stop. So loud, why so loud? Will their screaming ever go away?
Please... make it stop... Please... I didn't do anything...DAMN YOU TO HELL! GIVE ME A SILENT MOMENT! MAKE THEIR SCREAMING STOP! Did they cut me? Will they keep coming? Of course they will... Like a bad dream... They never give me peace... [/i] Raven was bleeding quite profusely from her wound from her face as well as the one to the side of her chest. She ran quite quickly, glancing to the blood trail that led away. She dared not approach the three she had been hired to defend, but she wasn't about to let them get out of sight. If they did, then she wouldn't be able to monitor them, and complete her duty. Yet it was more likely they were preoccupied with rescuing their comrade. The medical ward was the likely place that they would go to seek care. So, eventually, Raven knew she would have to meet them there, or at least watch the Medical Ward. The black armored assassin watched for a moment the group that was running down the Hall. As they ran, Raven turned back to the door she had fled and quickly activated her Omni-tool, hacking it to lock. Her helmet turned after a moment, looking to the man three people further down. Her sniper rifle was still in hand, but not raised to fight as she stared at them. A part of her was hoping that they would just shoot her, but as she stared her bleeding side seemed to show she had been fighting on the side of the Thrasher Bloods.[/size][/blockquote]

As the STG's rambled on, the large Thresher Blood ship's engines roared in defiance to the STG's wishes to lock it down and a mass effect field flickered around the exterior. And then it faded away. But it was there. The group of four weren't the only ones on the ship.
[/Medical Ward, Doctor Isho's office...]
"Coming through!" yelled Rex as he barged through the electronic doors with Viola in between him and Dustin. The cloaked man stood by the door as Duston and Rex set her on the operating bed. The doctor rushed over to her without so much as questioning them. This was work as usual on Illium. It happened often, albeit too often.
"Her leg is bleeding profusely but with a quick patch she'll be fine." as the slender Salarian spoke he worked to get the bullet out of her leg. He worked fast. No small talk. Pretty soon the bed was drenched in blood. Rex approached the cloaked man.
"Who do you think it was?" asked Rex. The cloaked man turned from him and contemplated it on his own. They had so many enemies it was difficult to point on out.
"It doesn't really matter right now," added Duston. "We need to get out of here soon before the police arrive and those STG's aren't going to make it easy." Duston grew impatient.
The cloaked man seemed to remain calm in light of what's happened. "Those weren't STG's. And they won't be a problem." He walked to the door. "I'll return shortly." His graceful movements could mask his presence if they hadn't seen him.
"I will follow." replied Rex as he followed suit but was quickly stopped by a mere word.
"No." demanded the cloaked man. And just like that he was gone. Leaving Duston and Rex with their injured crewman.

The commander of the STG soldiers shook his head after a moment before looking to the engineer on the terminal. The man worked as much as he could before stepping back from the console. He turned an crouched next to the body of the engineer that was next to him. "Commander... how many?"
"Five dead, three wounded. How you holding up?"
"My brother is dead...Why are we caring to take them alive? Why not just kill them?"
"Cause the group that hired us doesn't want us dead... we can kill the girl."
"I recommend against that, sir." said the Salarian with his scanner still active. "She's a unique specimen... I am sure some g-- Cerberus. A human experiment; the only group I know to be as extreme as what was done is Cerberus. They might pay a lovely amount of credits for her."
[---Outside Medical Ward- Back Alley Ways---]
There were no yells of pain as the woman, who had helped get the Threshers out of the hanger room, treated her wounds. The helmet was off as well as her chest plate as she put what was probably some sort of disinfectant onto the wounds. Slowly, she cleaned her facial hit that was at her cheek, cleaning some of the small streams of blood that had dripped down her face.
Then, the shirt came up a bit as she examined her chest injuries. There were a bit more cuts, but mainly her armor had absorbed most of the blows as she applied a spare omni-gel to the injury. She closed her eyes for a moment as she took a breath, feeling better from the extensive nature of her injuries.
For a moment, resting was what she needed as she leaned against the wall that was beside the Medical Ward. She had her rifle on her chest as she put her suit back on. Her helmet was resting beside her as she opened her eyes for a moment, showing her strange duel eye color. Left was red and the right was green. As she stared forward she took a breath and was trying to relax as she stared at her sniper rifle, cleaning it as she thought.
'No! PLEASE NO!' There was screaming from every direction until a moment later, when it all stopped. Flames and blood lettered the ground as people could be seen running from the flames as they were mowed down by bullets.
'You can not escape what is seen, you can not ignore what was made to be, you can not deny what we made come to pass.'
Raven's eyes opened as she was tied down. Where she was was no better as the steel walls and machines seemed to lock her in place. Then three figures came in as they brought trays and containers of material that even Raven couldn't comprehend. The nettle inched closer to her forehead, while another automatic machine moved similar nettles to her hands and feet.
'Stop! Let me go, dammit!' And a bloodcurdling scream came as the nettles peiced her skin and pushed up, breaking skin as they stained and implanted black looking metal onto her bone. All the retrained girl could do was scream in agony as they continued...
Raven's eyes stared at her reflecting in the scope, seeing the black lines on her face as she did so. Of course, now they were a red color do to a lack of ultraviolet that reacted with the metal, which would have caused it to become black. She didn't smile and only stared in silence as she listened for movement. [/size]

The mercenary leader made his way past the crowd of customers within the market district. Various alien species gathered around the many kiosks. Weapons, armor, food, even some adult entertainment. He walked over to an isolated area and remained still. Soon, a human man approached him.
"You're late." the man said. The merc leader remained silent. His cloak hid his eyes very well but than they started glowing an eerie blood-red color. "Nevermind..." the man continued. The merc leader frightened him immensely.
"You're my informant, you better have something for me." The cloaked man demanded results from everyone. If they didn't deliver they be much use to him. "What have you found out?"
"I've been keeping an eye out like you told me," the informant looked desperate to make the leader proud. He played with his hands and his voice was shaky. A simple task of keeping a look out did not please the Thresher Blood leader though. "And I saw your boy. He comes here at least once a month or so. I believe it's for supplies or a little entertainment." The leader turns and walks away from the informant, "Good job, Bigi." said the cloaked man.
Bigi simply smiled at pleasing his master and walked off. Probably looking for some rich bastards to steal from. The cloaked man returned to the medical ward. Rex and Duston stood at opposite ends of the room. Covering as much of it as possible. Viola rested on the bed quite comfortably.
"I got what I came for. It's time to leave." the cloaked man stood by the door. Rex pushed from the wall.
"But what about those STG's?" replied Rex. Duston approached Viola, ready to scoop her up and prove himself useful to the team. Viola merely looked on at the cloaked man.
"Like I said before, they aren't STG's. STG's don't run up to you and point a gun at your face when they can simply kill you from afar. Now, let's move." he turned to the door and walked out. Duston and Rex quickly picked Viola up and followed. Viola cringed in pain as they picked her up.
The Salarian doctor watched them leave, "Work as usual..."

The mission... always the mission... I have to keep doing this...
Slowly, the sniper rose from her position against the wall as she heard the doors open and close, letting out only one of the people at the time. A cloaked man that looked like he was on a mission.
Well... If I am going to follow them, I need to not look as conspicuous...
Raven removed her helmet again, revealing her short cut black hair that barely went past her chin as she pulled off some of her other armor parts. Her arm, hand, legging and boot armor remained on. She turned and quickly piled her gear and put them into her sniper case. Her sniper rifle was put into it as well after a moment as she held onto her knives, putting them on her belt as well as in her boot.
The caped man returned after a few minutes as Raven took her new position. She walked with the crowd, a bit odd do to being human in a primarily Asari city as well as the eye patch the covered her implants that would hold her ocular implant to her red eye. The implant wasn't in, but she was the only woman with an eye patch looking object. Carefully, she kept an eye on the ward to notice the group coming out.
It would be foolish to go into combat again after having one of their soldiers hit... They might have a safe-house here. The best way too follow someone is to follow from in front... I just hope they don't do something stupid... I am not in the correct equipment to do something stupid...
Raven's marks were not hidden, and caused some people to stare at her as she walked by, using the corners of her eyes or the reflective metal to watch the group without directly looking at them. Her expression also caused some of the people to be creeped out by her.
"Ma'am?" An asari police chief approached her causing the woman to stop as she kept an eye on her "target". As the asari approached, Raven's expression didn't change as she looked at her. The asari slowed in step as the scars on Raven became visible to her. "...Good evening, ma'am..."
"Have I broken the law?" asked Raven in a monotone voice. The Asari stopped as she looked at the odd human. The asari shook her head after a moment, indicating there was no obligation to answer or even acknowledge the law official.
"What is your business here?" Raven didn't answer as she ignored the blue alien's presence. The asari met a long pause before speaking again. "We don't see very many humans here... well... I mean.... humans that appear like you."
"I owe you no answer. I have done nothing wrong." The asari frowned as she looked at the woman carrying a large case.
"What is in the case?"
"My change of clothing... I carry my entire life in this case." Raven knew she had to answer that question, if she didn't, then that would be grounds to pry further.
"May I see?"
"Showing my dirty clothing to aliens isn't high on my things to do... please, leave." Raven's expression on her face said she was getting tired of the officers intrusion.
"You realize I can hold you and check your pocessions at the station." Raven said nothing as she turned her eye to the asari. The alien couldn't get a clear read on the woman, but after a moment of a long stare, the asari officer frowned before walking back. "No funny business, alright..." Raven's eyes didn't blink as she watched the asari run off.

Their footsteps bounced off the corridors and filled their ears. A faint anomaly as they reached the end of the long hallway; a single footstep joined in on their orchestra as they ran. The leader let the team pass him and turned toward the corner they just came from. He fired a large blast of biotic energy. As it rocketed down the hallway it collided with an STG that just veered the corner.
"Rex, pick her up!" commanded the leader, knowing it wouldn't be long before they encountered more STG's. The large man scooped Viola up onto his soldiers, she winced in pain. They ran faster now. They made good time. The leader tapped rapidly on his omni tool.
On the docks, the merc ship roared to life and lowered it's shields. It's weapons activated and aimed for the vulnerable STG's. They charged, giving them a few seconds to find cover. And then, rapid-fired cyan bursts from it's Vulcan guns. Cyan lights sprayed the docks. With this distraction, the dock doors opened and appeared the team. They rushed past the STG's as shots blazed past them. Duston aimed and covered their backs, he fired at the cowering STG's.
Suddenly, the ship lifted in the air and floated a few feet above the ground next to the team. They leaped in and Duston fired over the field of battle as he was the last to enter. The doors closed and the ship turned to blast away. It's exhausts vented white smoke as an overheat discharge, making it possible for someone to sneak on board.

After the annoying incident with the asari officer, Raven had to sprint after the group, hearing the sounds of firing guns. Their ship was moving to escape as she soon was able to see them. The STG were taking cover behind some of the crates and walling as the team of Mercs reached their ship. The Sniper glanced to the mercs that were there but continued after the Thresher Bloods.
"Dammit... Stop them!" Yelled the Commander as the Ship powered up it's thrusters. "Sorry, sir... We have a tracker on it, if that makes--"
"Hold it!" The Asari that Raven had disrespected had ordered reinforcements as well as tailed Raven as she moved. However, the Asari police officer glanced away from Raven and too the armed STG's in the room. Instantly, the officer made a biotic barrier to protect herself as the STG's tried to get a shot off at the team that had made it into the ship as it turned.
Raven first threw her grenade, sending it into the vent as she ran and leap for the vent. As her feet left the plate-form, she activated her explosive device to blow open the vent so she could enter. It would undoubtedly trigger some sort of alarm, but she knew how to stowaway on a number of ships. The Alliance didn't find her when she hid on one of their ships. How well patrolled was a Merc Ship? [/blockquote]

The air-locked door closed shut behind the team as they fell from the leap into the ship. They were met by a room-fill of white decontamination fog. Hundreds of sensors flashed around the room until the ship was satisfied it was safe to let them in. The doors leading to the bridge opened and out came a few crew members ready to carry the injured crew member to the medical bay.
The first to enter was the captain. He walked into a large corridor and walked down it's long stretch until he emerged onto the bridge. Seats lined the walls of the circular room with a large chair in the middle, reserved for the captain himself.
The big chunk of metal called their ship burst out of the docks and headed out toward the stars.
A familiar voice sounded from the comm, "Captain, as we lifted off the ship picked up an obstruction on in the ventilation system and shortly after an unidentified life form in the cargo bay."
The captain didn't seemed surprised. If they wanted his head so badly they'd try anything to get it. "Tallahassee and Buck are on Cargo duty, get them to check it out."
"I've tried that sir. Either their comms are dead or they don't respond. But I am reading three life forms in the cargo bay."
The captain sat on his chair with the pilot, Lier just in front of him. Lier would sit ground level in a compact cockpit. It would appear as though it was integrated into the ship's inner hull.
"Send a team down. If there is an intruder I want him alive.", ordered the captain.

Quickly the woman slid down the shaft before breaking threw the ventilation, collapsing to the ground as she fell in the cargo bay. The Cargo bay had two men inside whom had heard a commotion from the breaking of metal inside the bay. Instantly they grabbed their guns as they moved toward where a body laid. One kicked the woman but saw no movement as they looked at her, keeping their guns pointed at the body.
"Who the hell is this?" The cargo bay man flipped the woman as his "friend" kept his gun trained on her. Her eyes were closed and the tattooed marks and less then natural looking skin seemed to give a startling look at what may have begun to happen to her. "What the hell? Look at her..."
"Is she dead?" The other man pushed Raven's face with his gun muzzle, seemingly awakening the assassin. Both guns were not aimed directly at her vials as she pushed the muzzle of the gun and twisted it as she pulled out the gun from the man's procession. The man lost his balance as she used the butt of the rifle to collide with the man's head. The other jumped slightly as he tried to move his own rifle to fire at the intruder. Using the disarmed weapon as a bat, Raven push the other man's gun as she jumped to her feet and quickly seized the gun hand as she brought her knee up into his chest. His grip loosened around his rifle as she forced it out of his hands and threw it off to the side.
He however, wasn't taken down yet. He grabbed her in an attempt to stop her movement as he charged forward to try and pin her against something. Her back slammed into the ground as he tried to keep the woman still. "Nice little trick." Her eyes were strange as her red eyes seemed alien as they stared straight at the man. There was nothing but fear in the woman's eyes. She seemed scared but at the same time had a fire and focus to fight. Suddenly she pushed her body and strength to one side in order to flip the man so she was on top instead of forced against the ground.
The second man ran to aid his companion as he tried to grab Raven around her waist. But as he neared her, the woman's foot came up and collided with the man's chin as she pulled her knife at her waist. When her knife appeared, the man released her, fearing she would cut his arteries. As Raven back up she glanced to the man behind her. He began to stagger back as she shook her head pointing to him then to the area around the man that had retaliated the most against her.
"What are you going to do? Huh? You can't run, and eventually someone will find you. Turn yourself in, and it won't be drown out."
"Shut up. Get into a container." The man didn't move as he eye balled the rifle she had thrown out of their reach. "Either you go into it alive, or I throw your bullet ridden corpses into it. I still have my gun... how far do you think you can go before you die? I am thinking a quarter meter... under or over?" The cold and even detached expression on Raven's face said she wasn't at all concerned one way or another. They began to walk away moving into the container that was open. The moment they were both inside, she put the top on and locked the case.
Alright... I need to find a way out... I'll get my armor on and hid in some corner in the dark. When they dock again, I'll escape then.
What if it is weeks before they stop?
Well... those two will be dead, maybe I can steal their armor and use their access cards to get into the areas that house food.
Right now, I just need to hide and find my employer... the mission was successful, they aren't dead so... Wonder if he will still pay me.
What if there is Cerberus here? No... no.... they wouldn't be here, calm down...shhhshhh.... don't worry about it... We just need to hide.
Raven quickly put on her black armor as she deactivated the lights, her own armor glowed for only a few moments before she deactivated her light armor lighting. In the pitch black environment and with her black armor, she bended easily as she locked out the controls and went behind some of the crates. Perhaps some mercs would be down below and notice but it would take them time to reactivate everything and even then, she was hiding with cargo containers. She might just appear as armor that was being sold and they would ignore her. Silence was her forte' and she waited in silence sending a message on the frequency the man who was paying her told her to contact him when the mercs were safe.
"Mission complete. Zero Thresher Bloods dead. Over." The communicate may be detected but it was short enough for back tracking the signal to be not entirely precise as she waited for conformation.
