Welcome to Oakcourt, California, a great city founded by the explorer Paul Pinciotti in 1870. By the early 1900s the city was booming with life. In 1919 a man by the name of Daniel Molyneux was born and would become Oakcourt's greatest citizen in the eyes of many through his genius and technological advancements. For you see the humans of Earth were not alone. There was another species of human with extraordinary powers. They were known as metahumans. Daniel saw how these people were being treated by the general populace, so he took it upon himself to establish a facility where they could come to be safe and develop their powers without worry.
It wouldn't be until years later when his son Franklin Molyneux was born that this facility would be turned into a place of learning. Franklin himself had developed the meta gene. In 1970, the facility became the Oakcourt High School, a place for metas to receive an education and learn more about their amazing gifts with Franklin serving as principal. Ever since Oakcourt has become known as one of the top schools in the state for its brilliant staff and enthusiastic student body. Now in the year 2010, a new generation of students are taking up the Trojan mantle. But are things really as they seem? Is this school really such a simple place? Or is there something more sinister in the works? I don't know... you tell me.
